Robert E. “Boomer” McCants, 63 of Holiday, died July 10, 2011. He was born in Lake Wales, FL on February 2, 1948. 

Boomer belonged to the VFW Post 10167 Men's Auxiliary.  He was a firefighter for 15 years, a Master Carpenter and an active outdoorsman and was well liked by all.

He is survived by his companion, Debbie; mother, Louvenia; four children; two sisters, Brenda & Donna; three grandchildren. Dobies Funeral Home, Holiday.
